Our current project is to construct a center of excellence that helps young street girls/mothers to develop in a safe and supportive environment.
There, they will acquire the requisite skills and knowledge to be capable adults, that will inspire them to lead independent and productive lives.
To see updates on the progress of the center, see our Gallery page.

Once completed, the center will increase Street Girls Aid's capacity to receive girls and young mothers from the street through self-referral, S.Aid's outreach activities as well as referral from government agencies, hospitals and other nongovernmental organizations.
This project will be a unique. It is the only such facility in Accra, Ghana.
The project is well in line with the socio-economic development of the marginalized children and young mothers on the streets who are vulnerable and neglected members of Accra's society. They constitute an important percentage of the population. If their plight is not checked, the poverty levels, crime and substance abuse, maternal and child mortality, prostitution, and poor sanitation will cripple them, the community, and the country's development.
Here’s how the project began… (to see how it looks now, check our Updates page!)
