Street Girls Aid
S.Aid was registered as a Non Governmental Organization in the year 1994 and works in the street and slum areas of Accra. The organization's main objective is to empower vulnerable children and young mothers through self-sustainable skills and non-formal education. Currently their programs include: The Young Mothers support centre that offers temporal shelter to an average of 95 teenage girls yearly so they can have their babies in safety and under specialized care, vocational training, counseling, and Early Childhood Care Centres to care for the children as the mothers go through the training, counseling services and life skills education.
